In today’s assortment there are many products that did not exist a couple of years ago. Some examples:
Dropshot - a liquorice flavoured liqueur of 20 % alc Premixes - ready-made cocktails at 14.5 per cent in popular flavours such as Piña Colada, Fruitliqueurs – Sour Rhubarb, Blueberry ( blueberry), Raspberry (raspberry), Wild Strawberry, Sour Apple and Kiwi Cream: Country Lane, Strawberry Cream, Peach Cream and Butterscotch Cream. Research & DevelopmentOne method of product creation is researching new flavours of popular fruits or herbs from all over the world. However, a new flavour is not yet a new product: packaging, price, target group etc. have to be determined to make it a marketable product. That is why De Kuyper use with increasing frequency the so-called concepting method. First the product concept is developed: who will be the consumer, when and where will the product be consumed, how do we communicate with the target group etc. Then the flavour is determined which would best fit the new product concept. Over the years product development have resulted in over 70 different De Kuyper products, which are consumed in more than 100 countries.
